In a remarkable milestone, the Ben O Ben Film Academy, founded by renowned filmmaker Ayoola Benedict Ben O Ben, recently held its inaugural graduation ceremony for its pioneering students.
The event, which was held in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, had in attendance a plethora of notable celebrities including the Amb. Saidi Balogun (The National President Of The Golden Movie Ambassadors Association Of Nigeria), Yeye Bose Akinola (The TAMPAN Gov. Oyo State), Amb. Charity Adeniyi Oshiyemi (TGMAAN Gov. Oyo State) and many others.
The graduation ceremony was a momentous occasion, marking the culmination of hard work and dedication from the students, who have honed their craft in acting and filmmaking.
Ayoola Benedict Ben O Ben, in his address, reiterated his vision to build the next generation of filmmakers, a goal he has been steadfastly pursuing through his academy.
The event was a testament to the academy’s commitment to excellence, with presentations of cash prizes to outstanding crew members and best-performing students.
In his address, Ayoola Benedict said: “When I founded this academy, my vision was clear: TO BUILD THE NEXT GENERATION OF FILMMAKERS, to provide a platform for young, aspiring filmmakers to hone their craft, nurture their talent, and equip them with the skills necessary to succeed in the industry. Today, we celebrate the fruition of that vision.
“To our graduating students, I say congratulations! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off. You have demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity, and a passion for storytelling that is truly inspiring.
“As you go forth, remember that the film industry is not just about glamour and fame; it is about telling stories that touch hearts, minds, and souls. It is about captivating audiences, evoking emotions, and sparking meaningful conversations.
Never lose sight of your passion, and always strive for excellence. Continuously challenge yourselves to grow, learn, and improve. Surround yourselves with mentors, collaborators, and friends who share your vision and values.
