The Co-founder and Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Aurally, a revolutionary music streaming platform, Meshack Ishaya has tasked Nigerian youths to be more creative and shun any traditional bottleneck that does not promote their ambitions and aspirations.
Ishaya tasked the youths while speaking at an event tagged ‘The incredible Music Festival’ put together by MI Jude Abaga at Crest Hotel in Jos, Plateau state.
He stated that Aurally is the No. 1 NFT marketplace for creativity with the view to liberate the youths and sell their potential to the world and also to work on their potentialities instead of consigning them to the same spot.
According to him, Aurally is a platform built on the foundation of Web3 Algorand blockchain technology which empowers creatives to reclaim ownership of their work and connect directly with their fans in a transparent and equitable environment.
He explained that the platform also empowers creatives with the tools and technology they need to thrive, including real-time rewards smart contract royalties and enhanced discoverability and offers fans a curated selection of music from emerging and established artist as well as opportunities to engage with their favourite creatives through comments, likes, and exclusive content.
Ishaya also lamented the lack of equity and justice for creatives but with Aurally they intend to let people live their dreams and know that it’s possible for them to make it while having fun and doing their hobby in creativity.
“We are now launching the music aspect and onboarding another type of creatives from visual artists to video artists and a lot more coming down in the second quarter of this year. This is the first time we are bringing out the product and unveiling it live at the IMF Festival.”
Ishaya further pointed out that they are not just a streaming service, they are pioneers of the Web3 revolution, integrating NFTs and cutting-edge technologies to elevate the music experience for all and through their platform, artists can take control of their creative journey, from ownership and distribution to monetization and engagement.
“We intend to take all the creatives at the current IMF festival reading from 1000 to 5000 onboard from today to the end of the festival. We participated last year in Algrond blockchain and Aurally won the first prize of $60,000. With our integration of Web3 blockchain technology, we are shaping the future of music streaming, ensuring security, transparency and fairness for all stakeholders,” he said.
