Cardoso Ola, a cinematographer and video director, has bagged no less than two nominations at the recently unveiled nominations for the seventh edition of Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA).
The award recognises array of artistes and performers in the movie industry for a particular year and its seventh edition takes into consideration those impressed in the past year across all aspects of filmmaking.
Mr C, as Cardoso is fondly called, during the award unveiling on Thursday, bagged two nominations for his efforts as a cinematographer and as a light designer following the success of ‘God’s Calling’, a faith-based movie which was directed by BB Sasore.
The nominations would not have come as a surprise to many movie enthusiasts as Mr C is adjudged to be one of the most respected music video directors in the entertainment industry.
Despite delving into cinematography, documentaries being his forte, he seems to be showing no signs of slowing down especially with the AMVCA acknowledgement of his skill.
