Move on with your Renewed Hope Initiatives, policies, Hamzat urges Tinubu

Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to continue with his Renewed Hope Initiatives and policies, expressing Nigerians’ belief that those policies would make the country a better place for everyone to live in.

The deputy governor stated this during a Special Interdenominational Prayer Day for the Nation and President Tinubu organized by the Justice Forum Association of Nigeria, which held on Saturday at the All Season Event Centre, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja.

Hamzat urged President Tinubu to focus on the Renewed Hope Agenda he has set for the nation, saying that he should not be wearied, giving the fact that Nigerians, irrespective of their religious and political affiliations, support and believe in his policies.

“My message for him is to be focused. He shouldn’t be wearied, we believe in his policies and we know that at the end of it, Nigeria will be a better country,” he said.

The deputy governor, while speaking on President Tinubu’s capacity to lead the country to the desired haven, extolled his intelligence and experience, describing him as a man of prestige and economic wizardry, who is capable of raising the economic status of the country to how it ought to be.

“We believe in his policies and intelligence,” he affirmed.

Speaking on the foundation of the Justice Forum as the basis of political history in Lagos, Dr. Hamzat noted that history is important in the affairs of the country, adding that everything in life must have a history to aid a better understanding of the foundational basis of the things and as a reference for generations yet unborn.

He urged Nigerians, especially social media users to stop peddling negative stories or narratives about their leaders, saying that they should instead use the platform to express the positivities inherent in the country.

Hamzat, therefore, prayed that God’s hand should guide and protect the president “so that he can be able to achieve for Nigeria what he wants to do.”

“Nigerians are praying for him, Lagosians are praying for him and across the country. Lagos people are behind him and other Nigerians are behind him so that he can be able to achieve for Nigeria what he wants to do,” he said.

Other dignitaries at the event include: the former Deputy Governors, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Princess Sarah Sosan and Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire; all the Governor Advisory Council (GAC) Leaders, lead by Prince Tajudeen Olusi and other government functionaries, and who all who extolled President Tinubu’s virtues.

While explaining the foundation of the Justice Forum, Prince Olusi praised the Late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, who happened to be the pillar of the Forum, describing him as “a straight forward, god-fearing and astute politician who believed in justice for all.”
