The group which partnered a non-governmental organisation known as Isio Kids Projects gathered at the ECCI centre in the Nigerian Air Force base, where the materials were distributed to pupils of selected primary schools in the state.
Eleven pupils received school bags, exercise books and other writing materials from members of the Ponzi scheme.
Speaking about the donations, Oluchi, an MMM official said that the gesture was to ensure children from economically disadvantaged background have the resources to enhance their learning experience.
She said, “What made us undertake the project was the desire to see children of school age go to and stay in school and see them empowered to break the poverty cycle.”
