In a bid to foster collaboration and explore avenues for youth empowerment, Miss Teen Nigeria 2024, Vanessa Edem, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Laide Bakare, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Osun on Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
The visit took place in Osogbo and was led by the Founder and Creative Director of Miss Teen Nigeria, accompanied by reigning queen Vanessa Edem and her Talent Manager, Seun Skywalker.
The team was warmly received by Hon. Bakare, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry and a staunch advocate for youth and cultural development.

Discussions during the meeting focused on the possibility of hosting the 2025 edition of Miss Teen Nigeria in Osun State.
The organisers expressed their desire to showcase Osun’s rich tourism, cultural heritage, and creative industry by bringing the national pageant to the state.
They also emphasised their interest in partnering with Hon. Bakare’s office to support and empower teenagers across Nigeria through education, advocacy, and talent development.
Hon. Bakare engaged in an insightful conversation with Vanessa Edem about her reign, personal advocacy projects, and impressive academic journey.
The young queen shared how her time as Miss Teen Nigeria has been dedicated to inspiring other teenagers to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, and be agents of positive change.
“I’m truly inspired by Vanessa’s story and the vision of the Miss Teen Nigeria organisation.
“Osun State is ready to welcome initiatives that uplift young people while promoting our rich cultural and tourism potential. We’re excited about the possibility of hosting this event and look forward to working together,” said Hon. Bakare.
The visit concluded on a promising note, with both parties expressing optimism about a future partnership. If all goes as planned, Osun State could become the proud host of Miss Teen Nigeria 2025, an event set to inspire, empower, and spotlight the next generation of Nigerian leaders and talents.
