Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has approved the reinstatement of his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Alhaji Bashir Ado Kazaure.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, and made available to Tribune Online by the Public Relations Officer to the SSG, Mr. Ismaila Ibrahim.
The statement read, “Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA has lifted the suspension of his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Bashir Ado Kazaure, that had been imposed earlier with immediate effect.”
According to the statement, the decision followed a thorough investigation by a committee led by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bello Abdulkadir Fanini.

“The committee’s report addressed the circumstances surrounding Kazaure’s suspension, which had been enacted due to a premature announcement concerning a proposed minimum wage of N70,000,” the SSG stated.
He further explained that the decision to lift the suspension reflects the governor’s commitment to fairness and due process in such matters.
