Meet versatile act, Kolade Dominate

Kolade Olowu (Kolade Dominate) is a multi-award winning Nigerian on-air personality and the CEO/founder of 10o8 World.

He hails from Owu Ikija Ijebu, Ogun State, Nigeri. He attended Bafom International School, Ajuwon, Ogun State and attended Mayflower School, Ikenne for his secondary education.

He had his A levels at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo and then went to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to study radio presentation. He later proceeded to Highland College of Technology where he studied Digital Multimedia Technology and then studied Mass Communication from the Protestante Universite de lafrique de louest in Port Novo, Benin Republic.

He rose to fame in 2014 after the release of his Dominate 2.0 featuring OritseFemi; being a radio/Tv personality, he has kept up top notch presentations to ensure relevance in the industry.

He has been nominated and recognised by several awards organising bodies and has won several awards as a result of his professionalism. He worked with Raypower 95.1FM Ibadan as the host of the most listened to program on the station (PowerPlay), a drive time show and also served as the Head of Programme and Production for the station until November 30, 2018, when he resigned and moved to Splash 105.5FM Ibadan where he currently handles the ‘Smooth Home Drive’ and ‘Morning Splash Xtra’.

In 2018, Kolade established a fast rising talent promotion, PR and management outfit, “10O8World”, which presently houses Dotman and some other acts who are still under grooming. According to him, “10O8 World remains one of Nigeria’s fast rising management outfit; the firm, over the years, has promoted a wide range of Afrobeat artistes and their songs such as ‘Akube’, ‘My Woman’ by Dotman, ‘Economy’ by 9ice, ‘Totori’ by ID Cabasa ft Wizkid, Olamide, ‘Nobody Fine Pass You’ by T Classic, ‘Cunny Cunny’ by BBNaija star, Debie Rise, to name a few.
