Man submits self to Lagos police after killing neighbour in Ogun

A  resident of Ogijo area of Ogun State, who killed one of his neighbours has submitted himself to the police in Lagos State.

The suspect Amos Ekuma lived in Ogijo but has a shop in Ikorodu area of the state, where the incident happened on Saturday.

The image maker in charge of the state police command, Bala Elkana confirmed the incident to Tribune Online, adding that the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department for further investigations.

Elkana said: “On12/2019 at about 1400hrs, one Amos Ekuma “m”  of No 59 Ajipon Street, Ogijo, Ogun State submitted himself to the Police at Ikorodu that he was in his shop  on 13/12/2019 at about 1900hrs  along Sabo road by Kokoro Abu Ikorodu,  when one dry cleaner beside his shop popularly known as Actor attacked him with iron rod  as a result of an argument that ensued between them  earlier in  the day that was resolved by neighbours.”

He added that: “That when he pushed him, the said Actor fell down and was rushed to Ikorodu  General Hospital for treatment  but died while on admission.”
