Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has paid a condolence visit to the wife of the former Governor of the state, Florence Ajimobi, following the demise of their daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi.

Makinde, in a message shared on his official Facebook page, expressed his deep sorrow over the loss and offered prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

Makinde said, “Last night, we paid a condolence visit to Her Excellency, Florence Ajimobi, over the passing of her beloved first daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi.

“May her soul rest in peace, and may God continue to comfort all those she left behind to mourn her painful exit,” the Governor prayed.

Her death has sent shockwaves through Oyo State and beyond, prompting an outpouring of grief and tributes from across the nation.

She is survived by her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and three children.
