THE confirmation of Ibrahim Magu as chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has witnessed new twist as majority of senators have rejected his nomination.

A tweet from the senate, revealed that Magu’s confirmation may be in doubt after majority of the senate in session have rejected his nomination.

Magu revealed before the senate his commitment to continue to fight corruption, he also stated that before Senator Dino Melaye (who questioned Magu’s integrity) became a senator, they were both friends and fought corruption together.
