people of Madagbahin community in Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State have appealed to the state government to come to their aid and provide them with basic amenities while bemoaning the lack of infrastructural facilities, especially roads in the community.
The traditional head of the community, Chief Babatunde Raji, while calling for government intervention, stated that the state of roads in the agrarian community had hindered economic and social activities, adding that past administrations in the state did not consider the community in its development projects.
“The most painful aspect of it is that of electricity which has become a thing of the past here. There is no potable water, no health centre and school for our children. We are appealing to the state government to come to our aid. We are solidly behind Governor Akinwumi Ambode’s administration,” he said.
