A popular social club of professionals and captains of industry, The Mace Club of Nigeria, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has elected new officers to oversee the affairs of the club for the next two years.
The election of the new executives, which took place on March 19, at the clubhouse, in Abeokuta, saw the officers elected into various positions.
The chairman of the Mace Electoral Commission (MEC), Mace Laja Awodele announced the new executives after a successful election.
Mace (Chief) Lolu Elemide was elected the president of the club, while, Mace Toyin Obatosin, is the Vice President; Mace(Chief) Jibola Orisadare-Secretary-General; Mace Saheed Dosumu-Director of Finance & Treasury; Mace Adebayo Olajide-Director of Socials & Public Relations, and Mace Edward Lasilo as the Deputy Secretary-General.
According to the immediate past president of the club, Mace (Chief) Sina Odejobi, noted that the club was established on April 1, 1984, with modesty, candour, and service as its motto.
“The club clocked 38 years in existence in service to humanity and community development on April 1, 2022 and wish us more impactful success,” he added.
Oyejobi officially handed over to the newly elected officers at a ceremony after its March statutory meeting held on March 20.
