LUTH reacts to #SaveMayowa case

THE Chief Medical Director, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (CMD LUTH), Idi Araba, Professor Chris ‘Bode, has reacted to report of a scam allegation involving the family of Ahmed Mayowa Sukurat, a ovarian cancer patient in admission at LUTH.

Professor ‘Bode in a telephone call told Tribune Online that the hospital was not aware of the scam and will investigate the report.

He said, “I am hearing the case for the first time. The hospital will make proper investigation on her case and we will inform the public as at when due.”

It will be recalled that an online campaign was launched to raise money for Mayowa where N32million was raised in three days.
