The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of Esan South-East local government area of Edo State.
This was announced at the ongoing collation of results led by the Returning Officer, Professor Faruq Adamu Kuta, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna.
According to the collation officer for the local govt, Asue Ighodalo of the PDP scored 14,199 votes to defeat Monday Okpebholo of the APC who polled 8,398 votes.
