[LIVE UPDATES] #EdoDecides2024: APC’s Okpebholo wins Orhiomwhon LGA

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of Orhiomwhon local government area of Edo State.

This was announced at the ongoing collation of results led by the Returning Officer, Professor Faruq Adamu Kuta, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna.

According to the collation officer for the local govt, Monday Okpebholo of the APC polled 16,059 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the PDP, Asue Ighodalo, who scored 14,614 votes.
