Also, the Vice-Chancellor appealed to members of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) to embrace dialogue in resolving their agitation with the federal government in the interest of the nation.
Professor Na’Allah said that adopting strike action as a means of resolving problems would affect the academic system and standard in the country.
He also said that cultism and other social ills among Nigeria undergraduates would be averted when the idea of strike action was discouraged.
He noted that such criminal tendencies among students are perpetrated by idle hands during strikes.
Professor Na’Allah also called on the federal government to honour the agreement and ensure its implementation.
