Let Holy Spirit-filled women take leadership positions, cleric tells politicians

Published by

A cleric, Pastor Mrs Hannah Okediji, of The Highway of Holiness Ministry, Ibadan, has called on Nigerian politicians to allow holy spirit-filled women to take leadership positions, to change the fortune of Nigeria for the better.

She said this at the 2024 Annual Congress of the church, tagged “Daughter of Zion” DOZAC 2024 with the theme Spirit-Filled Woman, which held at the church’s auditorium, Vulcernizer-Adeyipo Bust Stop, Kute Area, Wofun, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

In her words, Okediji said only a spirit-filled woman can engender greatness at home and society at large as she teaches and guides her children to fear God and also associates with Godly peers.

“A Holy Spirit-filled woman can engender greatness at home and society by being submissive to her husband,  (Ephesians 5:22:25), through growing in the word of God (Joshua 1:8), by teaching and guiding her children to fear God and also associate with Godly peers.

“She will achieve great results for her home and society like ours in position of leadership as she has been supporting her husband in prayer, giving financial, emotional, and professional support and counsels to him, his children, and others in the process of nation building, as we all know that the home is a sub-set of the nation.

“She is sure to achieve greatness as a leader because she will exhibit Godly virtues by practicing th4 word of God in whatever profession she finds herself, by being diligent and hard working, this is what Nigeria desperately needs for now,” Okediji said.

Highlights of the 2024 Congress include Fellowship of Widows, Couples, Singles, and Children Dinner and Skill Acquisition Workshop on Washing of Head Ties and Caps.
