It is too late to talk about division, Al-makura tells Biafran agitators

NASARAWA State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-makura has declared that it impossible for Nigeria to break up given its long age of co-existence among diverse regions.

The Governor made the statement on Wednesday, in Lafia, while speaking to newsmen shortly after rounding-off an inspection tour to the Special school for people with disability.

Al-makura who was responding to reactions trailing the president’s speech said the president was in order when he declared that Nigeria cannot be divided.

He explained that, Nigerians have lived together for 103 years and cannot consider division as solutions for its problems.

“Every Nigerian who is patriotic and who want a better life for Nigeria should take Mr President’s speech serious and work towards enhancing the unity of the country”, the governor said.

He,however, urged all Nigerians to pray for the president and eshew all forms of hate speech.
