The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has averted a fire disaster, as a petroleum tanker got stuck at Ikotun, Lagos, in the early hours of today.
The official statement was posted on LASTMA’s X handle on Tuesday, 26th September, 2023.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, also known as LASTMA, has issued a public statement addressing the potential disaster unfolding in the city of Ikotun, Lagos State, where two major petroleum tankers could potentially cause irreparable harm.
The statement reads, “LASTMA AVERTS ANOTHER MAJOR FIRE DISASTER AS ANOTHER PETROLEUM TANKER GOT HOOKED AT IKOTUN, LAGOS.
“Operations of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) early this morning averted what could have been another major fire disaster around.”
