A commissioner in the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Alhaji Lateef Raji is dead.
Tribune Online gathered that the late LASIEC member died at about 4am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his Magodo home in Lagos, at 54 years old.
Available information also revealed that the late politician had failed to fully recover from injuries he sustained in an armed robbery attack few years ago while still living at Oshodi, and while still serving as the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to former Lagos Governor, Babatunde Fashola.
He was also reported to be battling with a disease suspected to be cancer until his death.
It was also gathered that his corpse would be taken to his hometown, Ido Ani in Ondo State for burial same day in accordance with Islamic rites.
