Fast rising artiste and humanitarian activist, Lamboginny, last weekend, proved why he is one of the most caring musical artistes for the less privileged in Nigeria by hosting his much anticipated album launch in prison!
Lamboginny, real names Yinka Lawanson, led top entertainers to the Kirikiri medium prisons in Lagos for a musical showdown which saw people like Small Doctor, Mz Kiss, Do2tun, Jimmy Jatt among many others take turns to thrill the prisoners who were elated to have been considered for such an event.
Lamboginny, who has secured freedom for 67 former inmates and counting, told Friday Treat that his calling was to uplift and free people through his music. He also performed a few of his new songs off the ‘Salt’ album backed up by selected inmates. Pictures from the event are below:
