The Lagos State governor, Akinwumi Ambode, has assured Lagosians of a peaceful election exercise.
Ambode had earlier casted his vote at his polling unit, and also urged voters to go out en mass to exercise their franchise in choosing representatives who will lead from the grassroots.
Ambode posted a photo of himself casting his vote on his Instagram page with the message “Measures have been put in place to ensure a peaceful election. I urge all Lagosians to exercise their franchise and vote to choose representatives who will lead us at the grassroots.”
