Lagos chapter of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) have partnered to boost the state’s education sector and enhance quality in the sector.
To achieve this, a three-day capacity-building workshop was held at Dover Hotels, Ikeja, with the theme “Education Policy Development Strategies and Purposeful Implementation of Basic Education Programme,” aimed to equip management staff with the knowledge and skills needed to develop effective education policies and drive purposeful programme implementation.
Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr Babatunde Hakeem Shittu, who declared the workshop open, emphasised the board’s commitment to improving basic education quality in the state in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s “Greater Lagos” plan.
