Operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) conducted an all-night raid of notorious spots in Oshodi and its environs, resulting in the arrest of 43 suspects.
In a separate incident on the same day, a semi-automatic pistol was recovered in Opebi, Ikeja.
The recovery of the pistol occurred when Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, deployed a team from the squad to verify information received from members of the public.

Alongside the pistol, two 9mm calibre firearms and one expended ammunition were also recovered during the discreet operation.
