Lagos LG polls: NANS endorses Ejigbadero for Agbado Oke-Odo chairmanship

National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has officially endorsed Alhaji Jimoh Abiodun Isola Ejigbadero as the Chairmanship candidate for Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This was conveyed in a statement on Wednesday by the National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NANS, Comrade Samson Ajasa Adeyemi, highlighting the significant contribution of Ejigbadero to development of education, support to students, and youth empowerment.

Part of the statement read: “This endorsement is not only timely but deeply rooted in the unwavering commitment Alhaji Ejigbadero has consistently demonstrated toward youth empowerment, student development, and educational support across the constituency.

“His long-standing record of support to student bodies, scholarship initiatives, youth mentorship, and grassroots mobilisation reflects his passion for the growth and future of young people.

“As he aspires to lead the good people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, we are hopeful and confident that Alhaji Ejigbadero will deepen his engagement with the student constituency.

“We look forward to a future of strengthened collaboration where students remain integral to policy formulation, empowerment programs, and decision-making processes at the grassroots level.

“NANS believes that his chairmanship will usher in a renewed era of educational development, youth inclusiveness, and sustained partnership with student-led organizations. We remain optimistic that his leadership will provide a platform for students to thrive, contribute meaningfully to local governance, and access opportunities for growth and advancement.
