Kudos to Ooni Ogunwusi

I want to commend the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, for the steps he has been taking since he ascended the throne of his forefathers.

Recently, the Ooni, in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, instituted a N1billion loan scheme for youths in Ile-Ife.

This loan, which will help youths boost their economic capacity, will go a long way in reducing poverty in the country.

I want to say categorically that if we have just five monarchs doing what Ooni is doing in the South West, then our region will develop economically faster than what is being predicted by the statistics bureaus.

Also, at this time of recession, Ooni’s kind heart will help ease the pain of poverty in many families.
