The Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has assured the people of Kogi West Senatorial district that more projects will be executed in the are by the state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
According to him, governor Bello will consolidate in his second term in office saying the people of Kogi west must support him.
Kolawole who stated this on Monday during the 2019 town hall meeting he organised to brief his constituency on his legislative activities at the state House of Assembly said reiterated he will consolidate on the gains recorded for his constituency in the last four years, assuring that all previous programmes would be sustained.
The Speaker who noted that in his first term he focussed on construction of healthcare facilities, provision of boreholes, education endowments, scholarships, widows and market women Empowerment, said that the ongoing construction of the two cottage hospitals in Gbeleko and Ayede-Bunu and other ongoing projects in the constituency would be completed and commissioned to pave ways for new projects line up for his second term.

“We have also provided one borehole for Idde community in Egbeda ward while the annual empowerment for widows will come up soon.
“I want to assure the people of my constituency that with their unalloyed cooperation and support to the current administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the two roads projects flagged off recently would be completed in record time as soon as the projects take off.
“What we are doing today is to set a pace for whoever comes after to follow so that the desired dividend of democracy can be delivered to the electorate,” he said.
In his remark, the State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon. Abdullahi Bello described the town hall meeting as the only way representative of the people can give feedback to their constituency.
While commending the constituency for supporting governor Yahaya Bello to win another four years term in office, the APC Chairman assured that the second term will usher in more projects for the people.
He promised to assist the speaker of the house to present the challenges faced by the College of Education Technical, Kabba to the governor for quick action.
