The endorsement of Governor Yahaya Bello by 45 political parties ahead the forthcoming governorship election in the state points to the fact that the election has been won.

The endorsement was described as another icing on the cake for the All Progressive Congress, shows that Governor Bello and Chief Onoja’s victory will be all-encompassing, a reflection of the wishes and aspirations of Kogi people.

Speaking to newsmen in Lokoja on Friday, Comr. Ali Atabor, the Coordinator of CEDO Media Network, disclosed that the decision by the political parties is a reflection of the mind of Kogi people, described it as democracy at work.

The endorsement aside making the forthcoming election one that would be the most peaceful, free, fair, and credible, it is an indication that the people irrespective of party affiliation, have come to the realization that another term for governor Bello would allow for consolidation and sustainability.

Comrade Atabor described the achievements witnessed under the Gov. Bello’s administration as unrivalled in the annals of the state history, commended the parties for their sense of reasoning, objectivity and sacrifice in forgoing their party’s interest.
