Kaduna NLC set to join nationwide strike

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Kaduna state branch is set to join the nationwide peaceful strike on Wednesday.

A statement issued by the leadership of the congress and made available to newsmen in Kaduna said “the peaceful protest has been organised by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 2nd August, 2023 by 8 am.

“The peaceful procession is slated for take off from the state NLC Secretariat opposite the National Ear Care Centre, Kaduna.

“All members are advised to wear their attires for easy identification to avoid infiltration by hoodlums. Please.

“In view of tomorrow’s demonstration, we shall march from the NLC Secretariat to the ABS Stadium roundabout. The departure time is 7:30 am.

“MHWUN, NUT, NULGE and NANNM are to bring 50 members, other unions are to bring 30 people each,” the statement declared.
