The contractor handling the Kabba–Egbe–Ilorin road project will return to site in the next two weeks, according to Senator Sunday Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The senator gave this assurance while delivering a remark at this year’s Isanlu Day celebration.
He explained that his efforts to get the contractor back to site have yielded results and assured that work will hopefully resume on the road within two weeks.
Senator Karimi also made an instant transfer of N10 million in support of the Isanlu Day celebration and called on the people of Kogi West to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He urged them to keep faith with President Tinubu’s administration, stating that the President means well for Nigerians and that Kogi West remains a top priority on his agenda.
Senator Karimi disclosed that President Tinubu is working tirelessly to restore the nation’s economy. He stated that the administration is making commendable progress and is on the verge of bringing the economy back to prosperity.
Barr. Femi Atteh, SAN, a prominent son of Isanlu and the Chief Launcher at this year’s Isanlu Day, donated N20 million, while Hon. Leke Abejide, Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, pledged N10 million.
