President Bola Tinubu is set to begin a 10-day “working vacation” in Europe today, September 4, as part of his 2025 annual leave.
The announcement was made in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on Thursday.
According to the statement, President Tinubu will divide his time between France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria at the conclusion of the vacation.
The presidency did not disclose further details on the nature of the “working” aspects of the trip or if he is scheduled to hold official meetings while abroad.
The trip is part of the President’s scheduled annual leave, a standard practice for sitting presidents.
