The Senate has just passed the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP).
The documents project N47.9 trillion as the budget for 2025 and pegs the exchange at N1,400/1USD.
The Senate also resolved to investigate the N8.4tn allegedly withheld by the NNPCL as expenditure it incurred on payment of subsidies on petroleum products.
