The late Speaker, Oyo House of Assembly, Honourable Michael Adeyemo will be buried at his hometown in Lanlate on Thursday.
This followed Sunday night’s approval by the burial planning committee and Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the Thursday burial date proposed for the late Adeyemo.
Thursday’s burial service is expected to be preceded by a valedictory plenary and lying in state at the House of Assembly.
Activities to bid the former Oyo Speaker farewell will also include a Christian wake, at Oke-Ado Baptist Church, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
Adeyemo died last Friday as a result of suspected heart attack, at the age of 47.
