A funeral service is being held for the late Chief Marshall Alex Badeh at the Pentecostal church Air Force base in Abuja.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, who led the Federal Government delegation is also joined by state governors of the Plateau and Adamawa, Simon Bako Lalong and Bindo Jibrilla at the church service.
The Cheif of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin also attended the funeral services while the chief of naval staff, the chief of air staff and the chief of army staff had their representatives at the programme.

Delivering a homily entitled the lost axe head, Group Captain Dogo Gani lauded Badeh for his selfless qualities and dedication to service to his nation.
Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh was killed by gunmen who attacked his vehicle as he was returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road in December 2018.
In October 2013, he became Nigeria’s 18th Chief of Air Staff in October 2012 and was appointed Chief of Defence Staff in January 2014 until his retirement in July 2015.
