Four children of the same mother have been burnt to death at their home in Animal Line by Dore Street, off Mciver Market in Warri, Delta State.
The tragedy, which left the mother of the siblings with severe burns, occurred on Tuesday between 8:30 p.m and 9:00 p.m.
Tribune Online gathered that the children were between the ages of six months to six years.
The landlord of the burnt building, Mr Tuoyo Eyikimi, also a victim, suspected adulterated kerosene as the cause of the inferno.
Mr Eyikimi told Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi, who raced to the scene of the incident, that mother of the deceased had been rushed to an Oghara hospital can only be attended to by medics if a financial deposit is made.

Dr Tidi, who was at the scene of the incident Wednesday morning with members of his executive, expressed great shock when he saw the charred remains of the children.
Dr Tidi immediately directed the councillor representing Pessu Ward in Warri South Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Emmanuel Egbe, to discuss with leaders of the affected family, in order to offset the medical bills of the mother as well as grant scholarship to the 15-year-old eldest child of the woman, Prosper Obodo who lives with his elder brother in another part of Warri.
The Warri South Chairman warned against the use of adulterated kerosene and tasked media practitioners as well as the National Orientation Agency to embark on advocacy against the sale and use of adulterated kerosene to avert further loss of lives and property.
