THE All Progressive Congress (APC) Jigawa State Chapter slams the former governor of the state, Sule Lamido and People Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant over his claim to defeat President Muhammad Buhari in 2019, said: “Lamido has no credibility and acceptability to compete with president Muhammadu Buhari.”
This was disclosed by the Chairman Birninkudu local government council of the state Alhaji Sani Abdullahi while reacting to Lamido claim of defeating President Muhammadu Buhari in his speech in 2019 elections at a political rally in Birninkudu town recently.
Alhaji Sani Abdullahi explained that there is no comparison between Buhari and Sule Lamido in term of quality, sincerity, credibility and acceptability from Nigerian and common men in particular.
According to him “governor Lamido himself knows that he is joking to think of defeating Buhari in a presidential race.
The local council chairman maintained that “Even his political party PDP will not take the risk of given its ticket to someone who lacks moral ground to contest for such important seat in the country.”
He said Lamido is only boasting and deceiving himself for spending years in politics but it is not all about how long but how well you behave and achieved.
Alhaji Abdullahi advice Lamido to review and recalled his political antecedent and judge himself on how he won all the seat he contest in the past, “certainly he would understand that his first election as member house of representatives seat was facilitated by late Malam Aminu Kano and the governor seat was simply given to him by former state governor Alhaji Saminu Turaki.”
Abdullahi also reputed the PDP claims in the state of receiving 5,000 defectors in Birninkudu last week, “where are 5,000 people in the place where they gathered?”
