Fedmas Studios has announced the premiere of its latest cinematic project, NINI, scheduled for September 2025, at the Silverbird Cinema in Abuja.
Shot across picturesque locations in Abuja and Nasarawa State, Nini is described as a contemporary African family adventure with a fast-paced action drama twist.
The 1-hour, 57-minute film explores the tension between a mother’s rigid stance on celibacy and her daughter’s journey through love, betrayal, and unexpected life detours.
The storyline follows a young woman whose dreams are disrupted by choices beyond her control. When an unforeseen incident shatters her chance at marital bliss, she is forced to confront her mother’s sanctimonious beliefs—setting off a chain of events that deliver profound life lessons.
The movie brings together an impressive lineup of Nollywood veterans and rising stars, including Keppy Ekpeyong, Antar Laniyan, Yemi Blaq, Tina Mba, Jide Kosoko, Chimezie Imo, Francis Duru, Damilola Ogunsi, Chinyere Wilfred, Mariah Ugbashi, Tony Goodman, Sydney Diala, Patricia Charles, and Maryann Apollo.
Written, directed, and produced by award-winning filmmaker Dr. Sam Idiagbonya (DGN), NINI promises a gripping mix of action, intrigue, and emotional depth.
Idiagbonya, celebrated for his realistic storytelling, worked with a talented crew led by Ochuko Justin Thomas (Head of Production and Cinematography), Lugard Peter Osheku (Sound Engineer), John Anijesu (Lead Gaffer), Usiobaifo Pius Osaheni (Still Photography), and Olohigbe Ebele Longe (Costume Design).
Speaking about the production, Fedmas Studios highlighted its commitment to excellence, creativity, and originality.
