Superstar rapper from Ekiti State University (EKSU), Iremide also known as Churchboy is set to hold a concert tagged, “Iremide Self- Made Concert/ Talent Hunt.”
According to him, the purpose of the concert is to give up-and-coming artistes on campus a platform for them to be heard and recognised the same way he was given a platform when he came in as a fresh student. In his words, “Iremide Self-Made Concert/ Talent Hunt is to promote new and up-and-coming talents in the school.
“When I gained admission years back, as a fresh student, I was given a platform at a talent hunt, which gave my musical talent a massive boost. If not for that platform, maybe I wouldn’t be where I am now. “I won the talent hunt as well as cash prize. Now, I feel it is right to give back and support fresh talents.”
