inDrive’s doXgetY Initiative: Why we partnered with Innoson, rewarded exceptional drivers

Published by

The management of inDrive says the decision of the platform to partner with Innoson Motors in the just-concluded inDrive’s doXgetY Initiative stems from the need to patronise made-in-Nigeria goods and contribute the brand’s quota to the nation’s economy.

It also stated that the initiative, which ran between May and July this year, was designed to reward and celebrate exceptional drivers within its system.

Speaking at the grand finale of the initiative where some of its drivers were rewarded with brand new IVM cars, the Business Development Manager at inDrive, Timothy Oladimeji, expressed the delight that the campaign had significantly impacted the lives and earnings of drivers in Nigeria, further reinforcing inDrive’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves.

“With campaigns like doXgetY, we demonstrate our dedication to inclusivity and economic opportunity. Our people-centric approach, where fares are negotiated directly between riders and drivers, remains at the core of our mission to be a human-tech company that prioritises fairness and transparency,” he added.

He stated further that the the doXgetY programme was introduced in response to the escalating cost of living in Nigeria, with the goal of alleviating the financial burden on drivers by offering a rewards programme.

At the grand finale, the three-star prize winners were presented with IVM cars, celebrating their outstanding performance and loyalty to the inDrive platform.

Taofeek Olatunji, one of the winning drivers, expressed delight at the transparency of the promo. The car voucher of N30,000 that he first won in May motivated him to do more. He believes the new car would enable him extend his business tentacles and enhance his bottom line.
