In face of American involvement, initiative committee held round-table discussion

Published by

Africa has been exploited by international and regional powers for the past four centuries. Since the geographical discoveries and the beginning of the wave of European colonialism, the continent has witnessed the greatest plundering and depletion of its wealth, to the point where its population is no longer exploited.

Spared, as a large part of its population was a supplier for the slave trade,. Although African countries gained their independence, the former colonial powers continued to drain it through binding treaties. In addition to the structural problems it inherited, it hindered the process of building a modern state.

As part of the US strategy of global hegemony, it has tended to adopt a geostrategic redeployment approach in several regions across Africa. Faced with the American approach in African countries, notably in the Central African Republic, the Initiative Committee to Investigate U.S. Actions in the Central African Republic held a round table discussion during which speakers criticised and condemned the illegal actions undertaken by the U.S. in a number of African countries through humanitarian non-governmental organisations.

It was also emphasised that the Americans are pursuing their selfish goals, trying to put their partners in direct dependence.

Participants cited the example of the U.S. USAID and the firm Chemonics International, who, in collaboration on humanitarian projects, have engaged in fraud, cheating millions of dollars, and manipulation of the government in the DRC, Kenya, and Niger.

The US PMC Bancroft will bring destabilisation to CAR, noting that in many African countries, Americans support the actions of militant armed groups against the people and the government

The participants in the round table addressed a message to President Touadera containing: “We call on President Touadera to be vigilant and not to enter into contracts with the United States, which has never helped us make peace since. We, the people of Central Africa, must take responsibility and raise the awareness of others.”.

Africa is seen as a gold, gas, and oil mine for America, and Africa has suffered throughout its modern history from Western colonialism. Those interested in the country of the Central African Republic are fully aware that America will not present the country with a mutually beneficial partnership strategy but will instead employ a master-servant strategy.
