Samuel Okorie Jr, better known by his stage name SoJay is currently building a name for himself in the music industry and has promised  that he would continue to get better with his craft and move to the top of his music career.

Vast in songwriting and music production, SoJay who discovered his penchant for music at the of 14 named American superstars, Boyz 11 men and Ne-Yo as his biggest influencers. A tech enthuasist, Sojay contested for several talent shows and auditions where he emerged winner for Port-Harcourt Idol and Trybe Records Top Talent, which would later earn him his first deal.

Acoording to the Imo State born singer, “my music is generally R n B, with a blend of my local Nigerian language, which occasionally displays my ability to blend with Hip-Hop while still maintaining a production of songs that evoke emotions.”

Nicknamed The Voice and rated as one of the best vocalists in Africa, SoJay’s talent has been acknowledged by many big acts in the music industry, who described him as one of the biggest music talents set to takeover the music industry by storm.

Speaking on his choice of music, which always revolves around women, he said his songs vary in subject matters that revolve around “appreciation of women, expression of lust and and chronicling the highs and lows of love, life and relationships and I have proved it with the singles and a few covers that I have released.”

With new songs on the way, SoJay, who has collaborated with Olamide, Jesse Jagz, elDee, Mode 9, Reminisce, Vector, Wale (MMG), is poised to put his career on the map in 2017.
