The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated Oba Rashidi Ladoja on his emergence as the new Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari stated this in a statement issued on Thursday in Ilorin, saying that “Kings are made by God with His divine authorities and grace, just like the case of the new Olubadan.
“He has held various positions of authority at various levels of governance before Almighty Allah in His divine mercies now made him the paramount ruler for the entire Ibadan land”.
The Emir also conveyed greetings of all members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council to His Royal Majesty, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, as he becomes the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land.
He urged the Olubadan-In-Council, people of Ibadan, Oyo State Traditional Rulers Council, government and people of Kwara state to rally round the new Olubadan in order to make his reign historic.
