I’ll develop human capital development for greater Ogun — Governorship aspirant

OgunA governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Mayokun Ilo, said his administration will focus on human capital development if voted into power in 2019.

Ilo commended the administration of Senator Ibikunle Amosun on the rebuilding mission of the state, promising to consolidate on all the achievements recorded by the APC led government.

He said this at a news briefing declaring his intention to contest for the exalted seat, in Abeokuta, that his government if given the opportunity to serve would eradicate poverty and usher in an era of prosperity built on human capital development.

“His Excellency, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, at the inception of his administration in 2011, embarked on a purpose-driven approach to governance christened MITROS. Seven years down the lane, the program has become an ongoing success worthy of every successor’s applause.

“To this end, we will not only continue the vision but further entrench it to further eradicate poverty in all its forms among our people,” he added.

He equally promised to boost the state Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) with agricultural development.
