The city of Ikeja is set to witness a night of cultural immersion and reflective celebration as Adùn Tẹmítope Fash, in collaboration with Imítìtì and Kininso Koncepts, presents “Adùn Live: The Appraisal Concert.”
Scheduled to hold on Friday, September 6, the highly anticipated second edition of the concert will take place at 19 Sanyaolu Street, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Ikeja, from 5 PM.
Building on the success of the first edition, Adùn Live 2.0 promises a rich blend of spoken word, music, praise, Yoruba oral tradition, and live performance art — all designed to usher audiences into a space of introspection, thanksgiving, and cultural pride.
Adùn, known for fusing performance art with spirituality, says the concert is a moment to appraise life’s journey, acknowledge growth, and reconnect with purpose. “It’s not just a show,” he said, “it’s an encounter, an evening of sound, soul, and sacred storytelling.”
The lineup includes Ayoka Ade, whose voice embodies the strength of womanhood in Yoruba tradition; the dynamic Dr. Debbie Ohiri, known for her expressive presence; and Àrẹmọ Gemini, whose lyrical depth continues to resonate with younger audiences.
Attendees can expect traditional aesthetics, powerful expressions of gratitude, and artistic reimaginings of praise and performance. From the sacred to the soulful, the stage will come alive with performances that celebrate both cultural identity and spiritual awakening.
As Lagos prepares to welcome another edition of Sounds and Appraisals with Fash, one thing is certain: Adùn Live 2.0 is more than a concert, it’s a call to pause, reflect, and praise with purpose.
