IGP Egbetokun arrives Edo on two-day working visit

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has arrived in Benin, the Edo State Capital.

IGP Egbetokun who is in Edo state for a 2-day working visit, arrived at the Benin Airport at about 2:10, where he was received by the Commissioner of Police in Edo, CP Funsho Adegboye and other top officers of the command

He was immediately dove to the state command of the police, where he had a brief, closed-door meeting with CP Adegboye and other officers.

It was gathered that IGP Egbetokun is expected to commission the newly built ultra-modern Benin Area Command Headquarters located at Upper Sakponba Road in Benin.

As of the time of filing this report, the IGP is still meeting with the top echelons and officers of the Edo State command of the Nigeria Police.
