Ahead of its National Elective Convention scheduled for 15 November 2025, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to inaugurate the Organising Committee on Tuesday, 2 September.
The convention, which will be held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, was approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party during its 101st meeting.
In furtherance of this development, the National Publicity Secretary, Honourable Debo Ologunagba, announced on Thursday that the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC), which has the primary task of planning the event, would be inaugurated on 2 September.
“The 110-member PDP 2025 National Convention Organising Committee has His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State as Chairman, His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State as Vice Chairman, and His Excellency Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State as Secretary.
“The NWC charges all leaders, critical stakeholders, and teeming members of the PDP to remain united, focused and continue to work together towards the success of the PDP 2025 Elective National Convention scheduled to hold in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Saturday, 15 to Sunday, 16 November 2025,” a statement by Ologunagba partly read.
