I have pains in my knee joints

I am a 50-year-old Civil Servant who has been in excellent health all this while. However, I discovered few weeks ago that I have severe pains in my Knee joint so much so that I have difficulty in getting up every morning. I have taken so many drugs without any improvement. Kindly help me.

It is not unusual for persons in your age bracket to have pains in their joints due to the prolonged wear and tear of the joint over the years. However, in order to be sure that there are no other underlying problems, an x ray of the knee joint will be desirable. The x ray will in addition confirm the diagnosis which is most likely to be Arthritis. For this, your doctor can give you a combination of drugs and physiotherapy for a good relief.
