It is not unusual for persons in your age bracket to have pains in their joints due to the prolonged wear and tear of the joint over the years. However, in order to be sure that there are no other underlying problems, an x ray of the knee joint will be desirable. The x ray will in addition confirm the diagnosis which is most likely to be Arthritis. For this, your doctor can give you a combination of drugs and physiotherapy for a good relief.
