Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has revealed why he likes to keep a low profile despite being constantly misconstrued by many people who don’t know his personality.

The actor in an interview monitored by R on Friday opened up about a number of issues he has battled in life including his failed marriage, saying he is not the kind of man that brings his personal issues to the public.

Speaking about how life has dealt with him in the past few years, Iyke a prominent face in Nigerian movie industry maintained that when people figure him out, he would have nothing else to offer.

According to the actor, every business he had got involved in over the years failed but he kept him issues to himself, even as he pointed out that not many people know he once had a failed marriage that produced three children.

Shedding light on why he visited Synagogue church some years back for deliverance, the father of three said her mum was in coma and he was at the church to pray.

“Some people saw the video and concluded that it was some theatrics but it is the truth. I told God I would say in that church for two years if that’s what it takes to bring my mother back.

“I am not an island of knowledge, I have done my part but one thing you can take to the bank is that I will remain a true son of Gladis.”

On the person she is currently dating, he refused to give a name but said “the person I want is not good in the public image, not as flashy as they want her to be and all that the things they want her to look like”, he added.
